Last Day of School!

Another school year is coming to an end.  And I could not be more ready for summer!  I'm ready for...

* Sleeping in.  All the mama's said AMEN!
* Days Home
* Days Exploring
* Days at the pool
* reading and playing and relaxing
* day trips to the beach or the lake or a farm or somewhere fun!

I'm ready.  So are my kids.  So - Bring it on!

It was a long year, but here are some highlights - some good and some not so good.

 - Watching Hannah shine at the gym and at her competitions!
 - Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz and Sleeping Beauty on Stage - Watching Asher and then Hannah sing and act on stage.  They LOVE being in the theater program and its' been so fun to watch them gain confidence and independence on stage as they have come into their own.
 - SNOW days!  Lots of them.
 - MOPS fun!  I have loved being a part of my MOPS group this past year - both in leadership and in fellowship.  I've learned so much about community and friendship and it's been so refreshing for me.
 - Broken Ankle.. - ok - not a favorite but def. a big part of this past year!  HA!
 - lots of funerals for people we love.  It's been a year of grief for sure.  I may need to write a post about what we are learning through grief and how God is always present.
 - Asher has begun to learn to play the violin!

What have been some of your high lights this past school year?  Do tell!
